I have been working for a while now with different ways to craft the intuitive bits of sound and movement that come through into form, choreography, songs, chant, practice form, etc, and also try to honour the intention of the song or dance.
One of my teachers says that dances and songs have their own intention, their own pathway, if we can support that pathway, and to co-create with the soul of the song or dance, then we can receive what that song or dance has to offer more fully, and the potential (if it is the will of the song/dance) to share that with others,
She says that if the song/dance is not honored it may not survive
in its most clear and powerful form.
I also feel that songs/dances change sometimes according to what is needed.
What are some of your experiences or interests in working with Intuited moments of song or movement into form, either for self use or for sharing? What are the challenges of continuing that flow of energy of the intitial experience into the set forms?
